Rettungswachenportal.de - For fire brigades, rescue services and help organisations
The fast and accurate calculation of bills for rescue assignments is of economical as well as organisational importance for all emergency service members. Despite the difficulty in reducing mistakes, rescue assignments are regularly recorded on paper. The subsequent processing of these paper based reports increases the potential for mistakes to be made.
The Rettungswachenportal is the optimal solution for mistake free recording and accounting of rescue assignments. Recording the operational data takes place 'at the scene'. This data can be sent immediately to the control centre/accounts office. It is also possible to transmit the data later, via a link to the control centre/accounts office.
The recording of operational data is carried out through menu driven interfaces in devices installed directly in each vehicle. Depending on the customer's wishes, different types of device can be installed in different vehicles. These menu driven interfaces are modified to suit each type of device and prevent mistakes being made whilst recording data. The devices are able to read health insurance chip-cards, which meets the demands of the health industry to transmit exact patient data in order to prepare accurate bills. On top of that, this system already functions with health insurance chip-cards that are to be introduced by the year 2006.
Emergency services reports and Doctor's reports from all incidents that are held on hand held computers (PDAs) can also be transmitted directly into Rettungswachenportal. If no hand held computers are available, this data can be input directly using the system's displays. A navigation system can also be integrated into the system, which automatically guides ambulances and other vehicles to each incident.
