Special modules for PSION Workabout/HC
The NETZING Duaportl is a expansion module for the HC and
docking station for the Workabout.
It has 2 integrated serial interfaces, which allow data transmission with 2 appliances. This removes the
necessity to swap plugs.
With the use of the new Workabout MX, speeds of 115 kB can be achieved, both internally and (using the NETZING
Dualport) to external devices. The original PSION port (see below) can only work up to a speed of 19.2kB.
At the moment with the older Workabout models a data transfer of 115 kB to external devices and 57.6 kB from
external devices is possible. In contrast to the PSION interfaces you can use the NETZING Dualport over 2
channels. (This means that you have 2 separate RS 232 interfaces).
If you already have the original PSION interface, and you want to upgrade with the Dualport 2xRS232, you can
simply swap the old board for a NETZING Dualport-Board.
